Dyson DC07 Washable Filter Service
When the washable filter gets clogged up it will severley affect the suction of the vacuum. Vacuuming fine powders such as flour can very quickly stop the filters performing as can vaccuming
This simple task can solve a lot of suction issues and will prevent premature motor burn out.
Tools needed and other information
No tools needed , but please allow the filter to dry out fully before placing back in to the vacuum.
The washable filter is housed at the side of the vacuum, press the yellow latch to remove the housing
With the housing now removed the filter can now be seen. Sometimes this can be a bit tight in the housing, rotating the filter will help it come loose.
The filter comes in two halves and both can be washed but please ensure they are totally dry before placing them back into the vacuum

Avoid carpet deodorisers such as "shake and vac". These products very quickly block filters, instead use the drop in style air fresheners.
